Peaches believes that every adult is entitled to keep three favorite foods or food combinations from their childhood and adolescence in their personal menu. Peaches's hypothesis- known as the Road Trip Test Theory- is perhaps, valid. According to the RTTT, a road trip of a week or longer will tell you everything you need to know about a person. So firmly does she believe in this theory, that at the end of a practically perfect road trip, she told a practically perfect gentleman "No." Why? Because he sent back the wine at dinner. Once. Which of these road trip behaviors would you consider a "deal breaker?"

Finally, there is her Life is a Song Cue Theory. And, Peaches does seem to have a song for every occasion. Feeling down? She'll give you the opening of "Lean on Me." A visit to me elicits "Walking in Memphis" or something Elvis. Weather? Anything from "You are My Sunshine" to "Singing in the Rain." My old pal, Merriam-Webster says theory can be defined as "a belief, policy, or procedure proposed or followed as the basis of action," So, I guess she can reasonably call her theories, theories. But they certainly don't meet the definition of scientific theory and applying the Scientific Method to testing her theories would be a nightmare. Did you study the Scientific Method when you were in school?
