1. And courteous thief of the year goes to... this week, in Hamilton, Ontario a 36 year old man took a city bus on a joyride. When the driver stopped the bus to take a short washroom break, a man boarded the bus, sat down in the driver's seat and drove away. The bus was an extra long "articulated" model — meaning it had an accordion-like attachment joining the first vehicle to the second vehicle. The man made several stops along the way, allowing passengers to get on and off at bus stops. At roughly any time, 10 passengers were on the bus. The passengers at first did not realize the man wasn't the bus driver, until he started making some wrong turns. One passenger even gave him directions to get back on the route. Police finally were able to board the bus, after following it closely, mindful of public safety, and the man was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with theft over $5,000, possession over $5,000. "There was not a ding on the bus. He did a great job," the police said. "It's comical but at the same time it's serious. We're thankful nobody was hurt." Do you think you would be able to safely drive a bus like this?

2. In 2020, Family Feud contestant Tim Bliefnick, who appeared on the TV game show without his wife, Becky, was asked "What's the biggest mistake you made on your wedding day?" by host Steve Harvey. "Honey, I love you," Tim answered to Harvey on the show, "but – said, 'I do!'" It was a funny answer for the show, and friends may have thought it was just Tim's sense of humor. But Tim then filed for divorce weeks after his appearance on the game show. However, in a twist that sounds like straight out of a crime show, three years later, an intruder broke into Becky's home and killed her. Within a short time, police had found their suspect, and yes, you guessed it...it WAS Tim, her estranged husband. Are you familiar with this case?
