Canada Trade Dispute Costs Jack Daniel's and Jim Beam $143 Million

U.S. spirits exports to Canada have dropped nearly 70%, according to the Distilled Spirits Council. The decline followed a trade dispute sparked by tariffs from President Donald Trump, which led several Canadian provinces to remove American alcohol from store shelves. Even after some tariffs were lifted, many provinces continue to keep U.S. spirits out of stores.
