More than half of Canadians with U.S. properties plan to sell amid political tensions
54% of Canadians who own property in the United States plan to sell within the next year, according to new data from Royal LePage. The survey suggests that tariffs and political tensions are influencing these decisions, with some of the proceeds likely returning to Canada’s real estate market. Many Canadians are especially looking to sell homes in popular sunbelt states such as California, Arizona, and Florida.
