AI‑generated images and online rumors spread confusion in recent ICE shooting

After Renee Good, 37, was fatally shot in Minneapolis, an AI-generated image claiming to show the ICE agent circulated online, depicting him unmasked despite eyewitness videos showing a mask. The image, paired with the name Steve Grove, led to harassment of two unrelated people and was part of a broader disinformation spread.
