'Fantastic news': Ford welcomes ICE plan to order Ontario armoured vehicles

Ontario Premier Doug Ford praised news that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plans to buy 20 armoured Senator vehicles from Brampton-based company Roshel, in a $10 million order. Ford called it “fantastic news” and noted that the order comes despite U.S. tariffs impacting Ontario’s economy. ICE, part of the Trump administration, is controversial due to allegations of human rights abuses.
