A new survey shows that a growing majority of Canadians prefer "Merry Christmas" as a seasonal greeting, with 67% choosing it—up five points from 2024 and a six-year high. "Happy Holidays" was preferred by 18% of respondents.

The survey also found that turkey was the most popular holiday food, enjoyed by 82% of respondents, while mulled wine was the least popular at 36%. Brussels sprouts (59%) were slightly more popular than eggnog (55%).
