France confirms oil crisis, says 30-40 percent of Gulf energy infrastructure destroyed

France’s Finance Minister recently reported that Iran’s retaliatory strikes have damaged or destroyed 30–40% of Gulf oil refining capacity, creating a global shortage of about 11 million barrels per day. Some facilities could take up to three years to fully repair.
