Are New Headlights Too Bright for the Road?

Many Canadians say the LED headlights on newer vehicles are becoming too bright and creating glare that can make it harder to see while driving at night. Some drivers say the lights can feel blinding, especially when facing oncoming traffic or seeing them in their rear-view mirror. Transport Canada recently held a survey on vehicle headlight glare, receiving close to 380,000 responses, and says it will use the feedback to help inform its ongoing work on the issue.
