Most Americans don’t believe God plays a role in U.S. presidential elections, according to a new Pew survey. Nearly half (49%) said God doesn’t get involved, while smaller groups saw the 2020 and 2024 outcomes as part of God’s plan or said they don’t believe in God at all. Only a few respondents felt God specifically chose Trump or Biden.
