Results: Teacher Loses Job For Taking Sick Student To the Hospital

A Red Bank High School teacher of 14 years was forced to resign after she decided take one of her sick students to the emergency room and pay the bill. However, this is not the first time this teacher has taken one of her students to the hospital, as she received a warning previously for driving one of her students to the hospital. According to the assistant superintendent of human resources, "It's a liability issue. It's an issue of insubordination after doing something you were officially warned not to do and doing it again. It's an issue of neglect of duty because the classroom was left unattended. There's several issues."
