After the recent terrorist shootings in France, actor Liam Neeson made the following comments - "First off, my thoughts and prayers and my heart are with the deceased, and certainly with all of France, yesterday. I’ve got a lot of dear friends in Paris. There’s too many f—ing guns out there. Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a f—ing disgrace. Every week now we’re picking up a newspaper and seeing, ‘Yet another few kids have been killed in schools."

Do you think Neeson's comments are hypocritical, given the fact that he makes a living shooting bad guys on screen?
Not at all. His movies aren't reality.

Absolutely. If he's so anti-gun, he should refuse to use one in his films.

not really sure. we put too much into what we see on screen but it does have an influence; kinda like being in court & judge tells jury to "disregard" something. you can't unhear something, you know. kind of a toss up on this. 0.06% 1
