Survey claims most Canadians support harm reduction services
A public health-knowledge organization said a new survey shows that most Canadians — 53 per cent — are in support of harm reduction programs and services for people struggling with substance abuse problems. The survey was commissioned by CATIE, a non-partisan national health information charity. According to the survey, most Canadians (59 per cent) agree harm reduction programs and services save the lives of those who use drugs.
