Angry Canadians demand Amazon Canada remove 'insulting' 51st state merch

Fed-up Canadians are taking a stand and calling on Amazon Canada to pull 51st-state merchandise being sold online. On February 9, Sue Williams-Dunn, a retired registered nurse from Thornbury, Ont., started a Change.org petition titled “Urge Amazon to Discontinue Selling ‘Canada, 51st State’ Merchandise.” As of Monday morning, there are over 56,600 signatures. “While some may argue these products are harmless, even comedic, they disregard and belittle the sustained economic terrorism Canada has been withstanding,” wrote Williams-Dunn. “This is not a joke to us. It’s a threat to our autonomy and identity as Canadians.”

Pierce Brosnan Says He ‘Could Get Away with’ Playing James Bond Again

Pierce Brosnan has more to say about the prospect of playing James Bond again. The 71-year-old actor first suited up as the iconic British spy in 1995's GoldenEye. He remained in the role until 2002's Die Another Day, after which he turned it over to Daniel Craig. Amid questions about who will be the next actor to assume the position of Bond, Brosnan has been asked about his thoughts regarding reprising it. During a Wednesday, April 2 appearance on the Today show, he said that he believes he "could get away with" coming back, adding, "in a pinch."
