Strong support exists for requiring passive impairment-detection technology (basically systems built into cars to detect if a driver is too drunk or impaired to drive safely) in all new vehicles, with 80% backing such a law. The results suggest Canadians want stricter action to keep roads safe.

A 2025 survey from RAND found about 10 million U.S. adults microdosed psilocybin, LSD, or MDMA—not to get high, but to boost mood, creativity, and mental health. Psilocybin mushrooms were the most popular, followed by MDMA, ketamine, and even fly agaric mushrooms.
