Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canadians should be ready for some “challenges” and “sacrifices” in a speech outlining some of his government’s priorities for the upcoming federal budget.
The World Series Starts Tonight
The 2025 World Series kicks off tonight as the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Dodgers are aiming to become Major League Baseball’s first repeat champions in 25 years, which would mark their third World Series title since 2020. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are chasing their third championship in franchise history, having last won back-to-back titles in 1992 and 1993.
