Liberals open up an 8-point lead over the Conservatives as O’Toole’s negatives keep rising

If an election were held now, the Liberals would win 38% of the vote (up 5 from our last wave), the Conservatives 30%, the NDP 17% (down 2), the Green Party 6% (down 2) and the BQ at 30% in Quebec (up 3). This is the largest lead for the Liberals in our tracking since mid-November 2020.

Fewer people in the U.S. drank coffee during the pandemic -survey

Fewer people drank coffee in the United States during the pandemic compared to levels seen before it, although the drink remained by far the most popular in the country, according to results of a national survey released on Thursday.

Netflix Near $400M+ Deal For ‘Knives Out’ 2 & 3

Netflix is closing in on a deal to make two sequels to the 2019 hit whodunit Knives Out, which Rian Johnson will direct with Daniel Craig reprising his role as super sleuth Benoit Blanc. Johnson, who wrote the original, has written the sequels and is producing with partner Ram Bergman. Sources said the deal will be worth north of $400 million, making it one of the biggest streamer movie deals in history.
