According to a study by Abacus Data, 73% of Quebecers believe Justin Trudeau and the Government of Canada were correct to use the Emergencies Act during the Ottawa Convoy Occupation. Overall, 63% of Canadians believe the Government of Canada was correct to use the Emergencies Act during the Ottawa Convoy Occupation, while 37% say it was a bad choice. The Emergencies Act says a national emergency is an urgent and critical situation of a temporary nature that "cannot be effectively dealt with under any other law of Canada."-CULTMTL.com

Amazon CEO says company won't take down antisemitic film
Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said Wednesday the company does not have plans to stop selling the antisemitic film that gained notoriety recently after Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving tweeted out an Amazon link to it. Pressure has been mounting on Amazon to discontinue sale of the film, called "Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America," since Irving shared the link to the documentary with his millions of Twitter followers in October. The synopsis on Amazon says the film "uncovers the true identity of the Children of Israel." The film contains antisemitic tropes, Holocaust denial, and claims of an international Jewish conspiracy. The film espouses antisemitic messaging and spreads misinformation.At The New York Times' DealBook Summit in New York City, Jassy said it is difficult for the company to determine what content crosses the line to where Amazon doesn't make it available to customers. -CTV News
