Poll finds an increasing number of Canadians hold negative views on immigration
With Canadians continuing to face a housing crisis and high living costs, a new survey has found a growing number of residents view immigration as having a negative affect on the country.
Trudeau's support hits 'rock bottom' as 68% of Canadians call for his resignation
Ipsos polling done exclusively for Global News shows 68 per cent of Canadians want Trudeau to step down. The desire for him to call it quits is highest in Alberta (79 per cent) and Atlantic Canada (76 per cent.) “This is as bad as we’ve seen it for Trudeau. It’s close to rock bottom,” said Ipsos CEO Darrell Bricker. Ipsos surveyed 1,001 Canadians between June 12 and 14 and found that if an election were held tomorrow, the Conservatives would enjoy a “comfortable victory” with 42 per cent of the decided vote.

USA Today surveyed 2,000 Americans who traveled by plane in 2023 and found that 20% experienced some kind of life-changing event.
Poll: Most Americans believe COVID-19 safety protocols were 'good idea'
Despite all the grumbling at the time, most Americans now look back upon pandemic-era policies as a good idea, a new poll shows. A majority of Americans see four key pandemic policies as "generally a good idea" in retrospect: Mask requirements in stores and businesses (70%), Healthcare worker vaccination requirements (65%) , Indoor dining closures (63%) and Closing public schools (56%) . Only 42% of Americans say all four policies a good idea, and another 37% say only some were a good idea. But only 20% say all those policies were "generally a bad idea," results show.
