Nearly a third of U.S. adults are more ‘scared’ of the metaverse than ‘excited’
According to a recent survey of more than 2,500 U.S. adults, people are currently more likely to fear the metaverse than be excited about it. Only 7% of respondents said the idea of a metaverse – virtual worlds where you can interact with friends and coworkers, play games and watch live events, all with a VR headset – made them “more excited” about the future. Almost one-third of respondents said it made them “more scared.” The largest contingent – 58% – answered “neither,” suggesting that the majority of Americans still treat the idea of the metaverse with relative indifference. -CNBC

Tropicana Created a Cereal Specifically for Orange Juice
In honor of National Orange Juice Day on May 4 , Tropicana released a cereal specifically intended to mix with orange juice instead of milk. Tropicana Crunch is touted as "the first-ever breakfast cereal created to pair with Tropicana Pure Premium so you can sip your sunshine and eat it, too." The unusual cereal that is "made for OJ" will only be available through TropicanaCrunch.com. The juice brand gave boxes away for free on May 4 and quickly sold out. A Tropicana spokesperson said after testing multiple flavors and textures, the company opted for a granola-based cereal because it can withstand the acidity in OJ better than things like flakes, which would go soggy more quickly. And the honey almond flavor was chosen to balance against the orange juice's tartness.
