Green Giant revealed new survey findings that indicate Friendsgiving is growing in popularity among Americans, with nearly half of the Americans surveyed indicating they plan to attend at least one Friendsgiving event this year.
For the First Time, More Americans Believe the Death Penalty Is Applied Unfairly in the United States
The Gallup Crime Survey has asked about the fairness of death penalty application in the United States since 2000. For the first time, the October 2023 survey reports that more Americans believe the death penalty is applied unfairly (50%) than fairly (47%). Gallup also asked respondents whether they believe the death penalty is imposed too often, about the right amount, or not enough. 39% of respondents think that capital punishment is not used often enough, while 28% of respondents believe it is both imposed too often or about the right amount.

Americans expect to gain 8 pounds before the end of the year
Three-quarters of Americans are planning to enjoy the end of the year and not worry about their diet — up from just half last year, according to a new survey.
Nearly half of Americans think having different movie tastes is a dealbreaker
Forty-five percent of Americans said having different movie tastes is a relationship dealbreaker. 37% of Americans stream movies or TV shows the most with their partner, more so than their children (14%) or their parents (14%). Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Tubi, the survey also found the average person reportedly streams a whopping 1,112 hours of content a year. It’s about 21 hours a week, which equates to a part time job.
