New Poll Shows Majority of Americans Support Cannabis Legalization
A new poll shows that the majority of Americans support cannabis legalization as voters in two states, Maryland and Missouri, became the latest to approve adult-use legalization measures in the Nov. 8 election. Results of a Pew Research Center survey conducted Oct. 10-16, 2022, revealed that 88% of U.S. adults believe cannabis should be legal in some form. Fifty-nine percent said that medical and adult-use cannabis should be legal, while 30% said cannabis should be legalized for medical purposes only. Just 10% percent of respondents said cannabis use should not be legal. -CannabisBusinessNews.com

Subway Wants To Expand Its New 'Smart Fridges' To More Places
The next time you're craving Subway, your experience may look a little different. In 2020, Subway introduced Subway Grab & Go, a vending machine that distributes Subway sandwiches. The subs are made in a nearby brick-and-mortar franchise location and delivered same day to non-Subway locales, like gas stations and airports. In September, Subway installed its first interactive, fully unattended smart fridge at the University of California San Diego. Featuring artificial intelligence and natural language processing, guests can talk directly to the smart fridge and ask about any of the products inside. Weight-sensor shelves help ensure guests are charged correctly, resulting in a completely contactless and cashless transaction, and UV-C light sanitation after every purchase helps guests stay confident in the quality of their food. They are doing well enough that Subway is rolling them out to more cities. -Mashed.com
