Many Americans say their household expenses are outpacing earnings this year
About 2 in 3 Americans say their household expenses have risen over the last year, but only about 1 in 4 say their income has increased in the same period, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. As household expenses outpace earnings, many are expressing concern about their financial futures. Man at Disney World’s Epcot jumps from bridge into lagoon in alleged $6,000 bet
A misguided thrill-seeker at Orlando’s Walt Disney World jumped off a bridge into a lagoon to allegedly win a bet for $6,000 — and earned a one-year ban in the process. In videos posted to social media, the bandanna-wearing jumper climbs over a bridge in the Italian pavilion at the amusement park on Monday around 5:30 p.m. In the clip, the man can be heard asking “How deep is that water?” before jumping. The video was posted to YouTube by Disney-loving family channel DisFamily Adventures, which is run by married couple Brendan and Gwyn, who told FOX 35 that they heard the man and his friends talking about a $6,000 bet under the condition he jumped into the lagoon.
