From Cheers to Cannabis: Holiday Stress Habits
A survey from the Freeman Recovery Center finds that about one in three Americans use cannabis as part of their holiday “pregame” routine, with alcohol remaining the most common choice. Usage is higher among younger adults and those with a substance use history, and many turn to substances to cope with family gatherings or financial stress during the season.

A survey of 3,000 people found that New Year’s Eve parties are losing appeal, with only 24% planning to celebrate with others, while many prefer staying in with Netflix, going to bed early, or scrolling social media—so much so that one in four would rather visit the dentist than attend a party.
