Created by Chinese scientists, these high-tech lenses work by turning invisible infrared light into visible light that our eyes can see. Unlike regular night vision goggles, these lenses don’t need batteries or any kind of power.They're also clear, so you can see both regular light and infrared light at the same time while wearing them. Interestingly, the infrared "night vision" effect was even stronger when people had their eyes closed, according to a study published in the journal Cell.
