There are over 800,000 TV shows available to watch at any given moment. With so many choices, a show has to catch your attention, and what better way to do it than with riveting opening credits. Entertainment Weekly compiled what they think are the best opening credits for TV shows and this is some on that list. If you have watched any of these shows, did you enjoy the opening credits (in other words, refused the option to "Skip intro")?

The White Lotus, the HBO series that just wrapped up its third season has elevated the opening credit sequence to an artform. Each season's opening credits are not only unique, there is so much symbolism, foreshadowing, clues and character development in that 90 second sequence that viewers rewatch it over and over to make sure they didn't miss anything. Have you watched any of The White Lotus seasons and did you like the opening credits?

Breaking Bad has been hailed as one of the best series ever, pure genius storytelling and acting from start to finish. Its opening credits evolved significantly over the show's run, reflecting its unique approach to visual storytelling. The iconic sequence, lasting a mere 18 seconds, drew inspiration from the periodic table of elements, mirroring the show's focus on chemistry, and tied directly to Walter White's background as a high school chemistry teacher. Over the 5 seasons, the opening credits changed, mirroring the changing dynamics of the show. If you watched Breaking Bad, did you feel the opening credits fit with the show perfectly?

This last one is not as well known as the others I mentioned, but it's my favourite opening credits ever. Bad Sisters, which just finished their second season on Apple TV+ is a quirky, funny, shocking Irish black comedy television series. The opening sequences for both seasons are, to put it simply, perfection. Fashioned after a Rube Goldberg-style machine (contraption designed to perform a simple task in an overly complex and indirect manner, using a chain reaction of events), the credits are full of symbolism, clues, props in dark yet comic chain reactions, as the sequence builds. Add the Leonard Cohen song "Who By Fire" sung by British singer P.J. Harvey and you get an opening credit sequence you definitely don't want to skip over. If you do watch this video, does it make you want to watch the show?
