Tellwut Online Survey Digs into B2B Company Activities on Social Media
Tellwut explored the answers of 53 employed or self-employed panel members to learn more about the social media activities of their companies and dig specifically into the activities of companies that provide Business to Business (B2B) services or products. As you can see in the survey results below over 55% of the 50% that stated that work full time or are self-employed work for or have a business that provides some sort of business to business services or products. More then 40% of them stated that their B2B organization promotes its business through Facebook, although LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network platform reaching 225 million members. Even LinkedIn has its Facebook Profile. Also, basing our thoughts on the online survey results, Facebook is also the biggest lead generator for the business to business companies, followed, with an extremely big gap, by LinkedIn, and than Google+. However, with its convenience and share-able platform, I am sure that Google+ will slowly but steadily rank up in that list. Tellwut also asked the panel participant in what industry they work, so that we all find out which social media was most successful for B2B organizations, and although the responses varied, the industry that received the most responses was the Business Services (e.g.)Marketing, Consulting, Management).
