I was supposed to meet her at a restaurant but she ended up being late. She called me and told me she was in traffic so I waited. Two hours later she finally showed up looking like a wreck. I asked her what happened and she told me she was mugged. I looked on in disbelief and asked to call the police but she said no. We had our date, which was awful because she kept going on and on about her past relationships. Finally I decided to call it quits and I told her I would call her again though I never would. As she left I noticed she left her phone at the restaurant so I went to go get it. There was a message from some guy that she was meeting up with except I already found out they met. It turns out her and this guy was getting it on in the car before our date thus explaining her disheveled look. I couldn't believe it and because I was so furious I decided to throw her phone in the street and a truck ran over it. It was my revenge for her deceit.

I went on a blind date to a restaurant (no smoking) immediately as soon as we sat down he asked the waitress for a small bowl with a little bit of water (I found this a little strange) the waitress brought the bowl over and left. My date immediately lit up a cigarette; he was using the bowl with water as an ashtray. I mentioned to him that this was a no smoking restaurant - he then said people have rights and no-one should try and stop him. People in the restaurant heard him and saw him with the cigarette and started looking at us. About 5 minutes later the manager came over and asked him to go outside if he wanted to smoke, he yelled at the manager and told him "he had rights and that no-one should try and control him" my date stood up and I thought he was going to hit the manager. He yelled at the manager " get the f*** waitress over here so I can order my dinner: and then inhaled his cigarette and blew smoke in the manager's face and sat down. A few minutes later 2 police officers arrived and came to our table and asked the guy to leave. My date said no f** way was he going to leave until he had his dinner." He then went on to tell the police officer "that this was his first date and that he had to make sure I ate properly" The police officer looked at me and asked me if it was true that this was my first time meeting him. I answered "yes". The police officer just shook his head. He looked at my date and said: if you don’t leave now, we will forcefully remove you. my date stood up took another puff of his cigarette and blew smoke in one of police officers face - then my date said to one of the police officers - "I dare you to do it" the 2 police officers looked at each other. One officer said - you want to take right side and I will take the left - the other police officer said 10 -4. The police walked over to him and one on each side grabbed him by his arms and walked him out. He then was yelled the police are assaulting me.

Back in 2011 some recently met friends of mine decided to set me up on a blind date. This was done with the best of intentions. They realized I had been out of the dating scene for quite some time and felt it was high time I got back out there. Everything was hush-hush. No info was given to me prior to the date. I was simply told to go to a certain restaurant, sit in the furthest left corner and wait for my date to appear. Evidently, my date was not told any info either. I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes ahead of the designated time and eagerly waited. Imagine my shock and the look on my face when who walks in but my brother!!!! Next came the laughter which set the mood for the rest of the night; that is until I got home and it hit me and I broke down and cried all night long.

Mine was a first date. Upon finishing coffee, she asked, would I like to come back to her place? How could I say no? Upon our arrival, she gave me a tour of the house. At the bedroom, she showed me everything and I remarked, "Why are all your photographs turned down?" She replied, "the ghosts do that, they also attack me at night." I paused waiting the 'just kidding' none came. I ended the evening with, "I forgot, I have to pick up my mother." She said, "where is she?" and I replied, "I have no idea, but if I start now, I am sure I will find her by morning."

I was on a date with boyfriend and another couple, and we were eating at a restaurant. Apparently his ex- girlfriend had moved back to town and they had been seeing each other - she happened to be at the restaurant and confronted him. He tried acting cool making introductions, she bolted - sobbing and ran out - he left table and ran after her. Then woman from other couple ran after them. (She had befriended ex girl) - So I was stuck with other guy and the bill. It was awful!!

I met this person on a date chat line and set up a blind date to meet at a burger king. I drove through a blinding snowstorm an hour from my home, which actually ended up being like two hours! We met and spent 5 minutes together while he told me about how he shoveled the sidewalks at school for a living! Realizing this person was not my type I asked him if he minded if I ended the date. We agreed to end the date and he told me that he didn't drive and had his dad drive him to burger king and could I give him a ride home. Still snowing heavily I agreed to drive him home in the car, he told me that he didn't exactly know where he lived since dad did all the driving. He lived in a trailer park on the same road as burger king. So, after driving 10 minutes in the snow, we came to a trailer park. It was dark outside and snowing quite heavily and we drove around the whole trailer park a couple of times looking for his dad's trailer and he was unable to find it. I suggested that perhaps we return to burger king so that he could call his dad to come and get him, but he was worried about his dad having to come out and get him in the storm. After driving 45 minutes more around in a dark, blinding, drifting snow storm I finely found some trees in the distance! Driving towards the trees things finely started to look familiar and we found the trailer with the skeleton on the porch of the trailer. It took me two more hours to get back home.

For some time I had been attracted to a man I had worked with on a cruise ship. He was handsome, friendly and hard working. When he asked me out I easily said yes. On our first date we shared information about each other. He admitted he was divorced and I asked him if he had dated much since that time (5 years). His response was, "before you, I had prostitutes". I ended the date immediately and said my good-byes. He couldn't quite understand why it was such a turn off. About 3 weeks later, he accosted me at work to tell me that he had lied about being divorced; he was still a married man! Glad that I nipped that one in the bud!

A guy I was dating went and took me out for supper. When came to pay the bill he said he was short on cash. I looked at him, and said, "And if I don't have the money, then what?" he said "dine and dash". I said I will pay for mine and up to him on what he wanted. He got stuck with his part of the cherub when I explained the issue with the waiter. He said I shouldn't have to pay and was nice I paid for myself. He then said that I should look for another man as it turned out this guy does it with every woman he takes to the restaurant...and since was a small town and no vehicle...they knew him...

I was invited to a nice restaurant located in downtown Montreal called Vargas. My date and I were supposed to meet there. It was a rainy day. When I got there, I could not find parking so I parked somewhere else not too far. As I was walking to get there, a bus splashed me with dirty water, and I was wearing a nice beige-pink dress. I could not believe it. I thought this type of thing could only happen in movies. I went to the restaurant's washroom but my date saw me when I entered the place. He followed me there. A waitress tried to help me in drying myself. My dress and my shoes were super dirty. I wanted to go home but my date insisted for me to stay, so I did. I was very uncomfortable. We ordered drinks. When the waitress brought them, he decided he wanted to help her and by accident he dropped my sangria on my dress. That was the worst day of my life. It was an expensive dress from bib. He felt terrible and could not stop apologizing. I could not say a word. When I’m upset, I don't talk. He was so nice but I just wanted to leave. He begged me to stay, so I did. I was not talking that much during the dinner, so we decided to end our date there. He offered to go get my car where it was parked, so I let him. I called my best friend to let her know about the disaster that was going on. She was making fun of me and disusing the guy. (I have Bluetooth in my car so when I get close to my car and I’m on the phone, the conversation keeps going but in the car. it is weird to explain but if you have Bluetooth you will understand.) I did not notice he was coming back with my car but I could not hear my friend anymore. I kept saying hello. When I turned around, I noticed he was there with my car, and my friend kept making fun of him and me so because of the Bluetooth he could hear everything. I was so embarrassed. I could not look at him in the eyes. I just left. Despite everything that happened, I really liked him but after all this he did not call me back.
Thank you for all who participated!
