Tellwut Poll Finds President Trump’s Approval Rating at 36% After First Year in Office
After one year in office President Trump’s approval rating according to a Tellwut Poll was 36%, while 51% disapproved of the job he was doing. Interestingly however, the poll found that 41% remained happy with their decision to vote in President Trump as Commander and Chief. Trump received the greatest approval rating with respect to job growth at 45% and a whopping 60% disapproval rating with respect to health care.
With respect to President Trump’s twitter usage, Americans were overwhelmingly against it at 67%. When asked who Americans would vote for tomorrow, 43% said Democrat, 36% said Republican and a large percentage at 21% were undecided. Of those who indicated they would vote Republican, 69% said they would vote President Trump in again and 16% were undecided, indicating that there is no clear second choice in the Republican Party. For those voting Democrat, Joe Biden takes the lead at 34%, undecided at 26%, Bernie Sanders at 24% and Elizabeth Warren at 12%.
Overall, one can conclude that President Trump’s rating should improve if he refrain’s from tweeting and addresses the health care system.
