Cholula plans to get more Americans hooked on its hot sauce

For the $800 million it's spending to buy it, Cholula's new owner needs it to punch above its weight. Right now the hot sauce, which is being acquired by spice maker McCormick, can only be found in about 4% of US households.

Comcast to raise internet and TV prices nationwide next year

If you’re a Comcast TV and internet user, prepare for price hikes. The company is planning to increase the prices of a variety of services starting January 1st, 2021, according to Ars Technica and a document detailing the various price increases being shared on Reddit.

The increases include as much as $4.50 per month added to the “Broadcast TV” fee and up to $2 per month added to the Regional Sports Network (RSN) fee, which collectively would add as much as $78 per year.

More Americans say they are regularly wearing masks in stores and other businesses

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, a growing share of Americans say they are regularly wearing a mask or face covering in stores and other businesses. More than eight-in-ten U.S. adults (85%) say they have done so all or most of the time over the past month, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted Aug. 3 to 16. When asked the same question in early June, 65% of Americans said they had been regularly wearing masks.
