Americans split on idea of putting immigrants in militarized "camps"
A policy proposed by former President Trump to round up and deport undocumented immigrants — even if it requires using military-guarded encampments — has Americans divided, per a new survey. The survey results come as Trump is promising to carry out mass deportations using a 226-year-old law that allows the federal government to detain "enemy aliens" in times of war. 50% of Americans surveyed oppose setting up encampments for undocumented immigrants, while 47% favor the idea, according to the annual survey from the nonpartisan Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI), in partnership with the Brookings Institution.

Study: Americans consume 80 lbs. of sugar a year
According to the poll of 2,000 Americans by Talker Research, consumers eat and drink an average of 99 grams of sugar per day.
87% of Americans use social media daily
An overwhelming majority of Americans use social media daily, presenting a large opportunity for retailers and brands. According to a new survey from digital marketing agency Adtaxi, on average, 87% of all respondents reported using some kind of social platform every single day. Social media popularity isn’t relegated to younger Americans either. Users aged 30-44 have the highest daily usage (89%), but even among those over 60, 80% engage daily.
