As you likely know, the coupons do expire but are always taken. The program may be backfiring as the company has seen a 10% decline in profits. Customers have come to expect the discount. The company, according to Business Insider, is trying out a loyalty program that gives you free shipping and 20% off purchases if you pay a yearly fee of $29. If the test is successful, it could mean the end or tighter restrictions on the 20% coupons.
