In China, November 11 is celebrated as Singles Day.
In the USA, 11/11 is celebrated as Veteran's Day.
In Canada and the UK, 11/11 is celebrated as Remembrance Day.
Alibaba has hit sales records every year on 11/11 for the past several years (on the biggest holiday sale of the year) and I doubt someday another store will break that record(s) on that day.
