For those who are unaware, Amazon Prime costs $99/year (USA membership) and includes a variety of benefits, including free two-day shipping on "Prime eligible" items. As a heavy user of Amazon, I have used the free trial in the past when it was available to me, but I have never purchased a membership as I tend to make more impulse purchases when I have the additional enticement of 'free' and fast shipping. Now the Prime Day event is promising "more deals than Black Friday", and I am debating whether or not the expense is worth access to the sale. Do you feel that Prime Day tilts the balance in favor of finally buying a membership, especially for people like me who are already heavy users of Amazon? Yes
