Basically, it's a voluntary code for retailers in Canada to guarantee that their prices are correct. If the scanned price at the cash is incorrect, $10 or less items will be $0 & anything over $10 will have $10 taken off it. Is this something you might bring up if you get charged the wrong price? Yes
