Careers/Work
In today's work, if something breaks or no longer works, we generally toss it and buy a new one. People no longer have the skills to repair or create new items. I really enjoy watching people who still have those skills. These are my favourite YT shows.

My first YouTube channel is called 'AT Renovations. The man is a master craftsman. People send him their pieces from all over Europe to be restored. It is fascinating to watch him explain the history of the piece and then completely restore it to its original beauty. Plus he gives hints and tips to viewers about how to do their own restorations. He lives in Estonia. Have you ever restored furniture yourself?

My second channel is called Screws and Tools. This is a Russian man who restores very old items, mainly swords of various kinds, knives, axes, etc. He buys them in flea markets or finds them buried in the ground. He has access to limited tools but uses old-fashioned rust removers like kerosene to clear out the worst. Again, he gives the history of the piece. At the end, he always practices with the sword by slashing up pumpkins, squash, etc., much to the delight of his audience. Again, something you might watch?
