In June of 1975, an owner of an independent Hickory Farms offered to set me up in my own apartment in an exchange for sex. I told him no. The next day two women came into the store and because I thought they were low-income seniors, from the area, I did not try and upsell them. Turns out they were secret shoppers and I was fired the next day. A few months later, at my first pharmacy job, I was also offered to be set up in my own apartment as a mistress for the owner of the pharmacy. Afraid that I would also be fired, I quit without notice. Please check off what you agree with:

In 1981, I started therapy after I learned about some sad news. After a few months, I guess the therapist thought it would be okay for her to light up marijuana cigarettes during our sessions. I was still drinking, so I didn't really care. Check off what is true for you:

In 1992 I became pregnant with Mallory, my first child. The medical office strongly suggested that I be test for HIV, so I did. Time for results, and no one can find them. I about lost my mind, and after days of countless phone calls, I went down to the medical office and there were my results on the doctor's desk. Please check off what you agree with:

While I was pregnant, with Mallory, I had an ultrasound. The technician that did the ultrasound, told us we were having a boy. My shower was for a boy, everything we purchased and received was for a boy, including the take home outfit and blanket that we took to the hospital. But when Mallory was born, the doctor told us congratulations it's a girl. We told him it was supposed to be a boy, he said he'd go back in and check ... nope, just 1 girl. After I had Mack, my second child, the nurses would routinely come in and push on my stomach. They did so with such force, that my abdomen was bruised, and the next day, it was almost impossible for me to walk from the lower stomach pain. Please check off what is true for you:

After the birth of my son, I became very sick. The MD (my primary, who I knew from AA meetings for over 10 years) had me coming into his office 2-3 times per week. Turns out that he had been talking to my husband at the time; the result were numerous mental diagnoses that were and are not true. I talked to other people who had also been misdiagnosed or had extra diagnoses to justify their extra visits to see this MD. Shortly after, the same MD upon prescribing Vicodin unnecessarily, was caught when one of his patients died. All of the antics of this MD were made public, and before his upcoming court date he committed suicide. Please check off what you agree with:

Do you believe that I need to add an inclusion that states my awareness that no career choice is perfect, or can it be assumed that we as knowledgeable adults know that every profession has at least one flawed individual?
