Results: This is a survey about surveys. Some types I enjoy. Some I don't enjoy but tolerate. Some I can't do or won't do. Points are rarely the reason. There are 4 questions for 5 points in this one. I think this is an important topic. N/A if you disagree.

There are some surveys that are poorly written and/or poorly laid out and take much longer to complete as a result. If they ask for feedback I always provide it. Sometimes they make changes. Others however are a constant irritation. Or maybe it's just me being a curmudgeon in my old age. See if you agree.

The survey that prompted this one, involved going shopping at a big supermarket, looking for bar soap or other product you need specifically, but adding a few other items from a list they give you. The survey takes you to an aisle in the store and you have to add items to your cart. You might enjoy this type but I hate it enough that I bail. Here are my reasons why. Which do you agree with?

You are needing one item but they give you a list of 12 or so items which you are expected to memorize - I never shop without a list if there are 3 or more items.

You go to a long shelf with dozens of products and are expected to add items to your cart. You have to magnify everything and scroll all over the place to find your item plus items from the list. They don't have the product I am looking for and you can't advance without buying something - I don't shop that way.

While you are magnifying and scrolling, they have a countdown clock that removes everything in 3 minutes. Then you either start again or get kicked out - I don't need that pressure.

At the end of the survey, they ask you to list the items they told you to remember. This sounds more like a TV game show rather than a survey.

There are some surveys that have a list of questions going down and categories going across. Some headings go so far to the right that they won't fit in the page and you have to scroll back to the left to see the question and the line the answer is supposed to go in. Then as you go down though the questions the headers disappear off the top of the page and you have to scroll back up again to see them. I do this type of survey on a laptop, and they take longer than need be because of their poor design. But this must be hell on a smart phone. Do you persevere and complete this type of survey?

Similar to question 2 but with added questions that you can only guess the answer to because you have never bought the product or done business with the company. Here are some of those questions. Which ones do you have difficulty answering?

There are some surveys that are actually combos of two or more separate surveys rolled into one. You complete the first part but get rejected by the second part having provided valuable information to the first vendor. What do you do after this happens?

I politely contact TW admin and request points for the first survey part I completed. More often or not they give me points.

Your question contradicts itself because it specifically says that you get rejected which means you are DQed and kicked off of the Survey so why would one of the options be to complete the second part of the Survey when you already we re kicked out?? 0.08% 1
I resent these kinds of surveys but usually don't bother trying to get partial points. I also hate surveys that can't seem to decide to screen you out until you have completed 98% of it. 0.08% 1

Depends on the survey and what is involved, and the amount the survey is worth! For the number of surveys that I do, it would take far more time to complain to all the companes involved than just let it go...unless it's worth say $40 or $50. 0.08% 1
