Member Question: I wanted to use my Income Tax refund to fly out west to meet my newest Grandson & to get 1 Dental Implant.
So I started my research for the DI & 1st asked my DIL, what her Dental Employer would charge me & I was told $4,500, way too much for me. While on Instagram an ad popped up about a local Dentist charging $2,500, a huge difference so after doing my due diligence I proceeded. The Staff & I had a laugh so the Dentist, who apparently enjoyed my comments, asked if I would do a Video about my experience & that they'd give me $100 off my bill, I said ok!
I told my family & I proceeded with the video! One of my sons just phoned me & said that me doing this video may cause problems for his wife, my DIL, that since both Dental Offices are very close that it won't look good or whatever for her! They may ask me to cancel the video agreement! I was quite upset about it because I couldn't afford her Dentist! I've since wondered that maybe I should ask if my last name could be deleted? Who's going to know that we're related? They haven't gotten back to me even though I've seen them since but neither of us brought it up! Turns out that they may be too late because another son just informed me that the video is now live as it popped up on one of his accounts!
What do I do? I just want to help others in the same kind of financial situation that I am & don't have any kind of Insurance! Am I right to just move on? This DIL seems kinda cold at our family get togethers for 25yrs, never puts herself out to even try to talk to any of the family so I just sorta feel that her feelings aren't at the top of my list & maybe I gotta do whatever I feel is right!
