While you're reading and answering Tellwut internal surveys, such as this one, do you pay attention to the pictures of red peppers not far below the title of any poll you're answering?

As a contributor of polls to this website, I've been curious about that produce pictured on the surveys all (?)of us here answer. I'd fairly intuited roughly the same assumption about them as given to me by the administrators here, who told " The peppers just mean how 'hot'—or how much activity— a survey has. The more comments, upvotes and interaction, the more peppers (are highlighted)." Further, " Our system uses an algorithm so we don't have the specific information on how many comments or interactions, etc. it takes to go from 1-3 peppers." Did you know or figure the same about Tw's peppers?

As a Tw surveyor, I like to check the peppery reactions to or activity regarding my offerings here. If you also write polls for this site, do you check out the comments section activity and/or pepper rating on what you get published here?

Even if many of the comments are negative or in opposition to a point I may be endeavoring to make in my Tw questions, it's at least somewhat gratifying to see a high pepper rating accompanying my work. It means people (though likely as not the same cadre of Tw'ers apt to comment on many surveys) are reading and thinking--or reacting, anyway--to the thoughts I'm sharing. If you also write Tw polls. do you feel similarly about their pepper statuses?

Also from the admins' correspondence regarding peppers, "You will probably notice the political themed surveys are always 3 peppers since those have a lot of comments and interaction." Do you regularly comment on Tw political polls?
