The labels on flu vaccines from GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, and Sanofi Pasteur all state that their vaccines have never been tested on pregnant women. Did you know this? Yes, and that's why I don't think this woman should have been made to get one or else lose her job.

PA law does not require nurses to get flu shots. This nurse presented a note from her midwife stating as such, and the information about flu shots never being tested on pregnant women. She also presented a note from a doctor stating the anxiety she would suffer if she received the shot would be dangerous to her and the baby. The hospital did not deem either of these to be acceptable exemptions. Do you agree? Yes, those are not true medical reasons for not getting the shot.
