Amy Chua’s new book “The Triple Package: How three unlikely traits Explain the Rise And Fall Of Cultural Groups In America has been the topic of debate as it states that there are 8 cultural groups that are superior to other cultures and make them more likely to excel. According to Jed Rubenfeld who is a co-author in this book, the main reason these groups excel is because they have a triple package: a superiority complex, insecurity, and impulse control. In response to the assertions made, many are arguing that the book is racist and certain stereotypes groups of people as being the same.
