Windows 10 now sends weekly updates on children's internet and browsing history to parents by default. The updates includes a list of websites visited, hours spent per day and how length of time on programs/apps. This new feature is automatically turn on for family accounts and no permissions are required.

Critics of this new feature are worried that it could accidentally out young LGBT people by sending their web usage. This in turn could put them at risk of abuse by parents. Others claim the feature is a shift towards "teaching children from the youngest age their every motion is being digitally watched and they should self-censor as appropriate," wrote Twitter use mcc.
