Wednesday Is Veteran's Day in the USA, honoring all of those who have served in the armed forces. In Canada it is called Remembrance Day. Which one will you at least acknowledge?

In my area of Southern California there will be a ton of freebies, like at Sizzler's Steak house, Hometown Buffet, Starbucks and many more. For Canadians, do they do this also? And for other parts of the USA, is it the same in your area? I know there are freebies and discounts for veterans in Canada
