Results: Will you buy a new pair of shades for Summer 2016?
Another day, another Rihanna collaboration. The singer has just unveiled her latest project: a new collection of sunglasses for Dior.
The futuristic shades, titled "Rihanna," are a flat top style that will be available in five different colors, including silver, pink, blue, green, and red. There will also be a pair plated in 24-karat gold.
The sunglasses mark the second collaboration between Rihanna and the luxury fashion house. RiRi was featured in a campaign for Dior last year. She made history as the first black woman to sign a deal with the label after starring in the "Secret Garden" film and print ads. Now, she is making history again as the first brand ambassador to design a project for Dior.
It makes sense that Dior would give this honor to Rihanna after other big names like Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, and Marion Cotillard fronted campaigns for the label. RiRi was named the most marketable celebrity in 2015 and has already boosted sales at Puma with her collections, proving that everything she touches turns to gold.
