25 countries recognize Taiwan as a country excluding the US. When the UK handled their control over to China, things aren't the same anymore for Hong Kong. It gets even more ridiculous for people calling for the US to liberate Hong Kong. I wish Hong Kong could have stayed as a UK territory permanently, and the same goes to Macau. It's even more sad that there could be a chance of a civil war inside HK as protests have continued for over three months, and who knows how long.
