At a hearing March 11th hosted by the Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Europe, Republican Chairman Rep Keith Self from Texas introduced committee member Rep Sarah McBride with, "I now recognize the representative from Delaware, Mister McBride." McBride is the first openly trans member of Congress. Do you think Self could have just as easily said, "Representative McBride"?

Keating responded, "Mr Chairman, you are out of order. Have you no decency?"
