At a hearing March 11th hosted by the Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Europe, Republican Chairman Rep Keith Self from Texas introduced committee member Rep Sarah McBride with, "I now recognize the representative from Delaware, Mister McBride." McBride is the first openly trans member of Congress. Do you think Self could have just as easily said, "Representative McBride"?

The top Democrat on the subcommittee, Rep Bill Keating (pictured), asked Self to repeat his remarks. Self doubled down, and said, "We have set the standard on the House floor". Keating responded, "Mr Chairman, you are out of order. Have you no decency?" Do you think Self's behavior was justified based on what he calls Trump's new "policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female"?
