Have you stopped or reduced your leisure travel to the U.S. from Canada?

My mother-in-law recently went on a seniors bus tour that went to the east coast of Canada then into Maine. When they crossed the border their bus was directed into this big warehouse and everyone was ordered off the bus and lined up in order to check everyone's paperwork. They stood there all people over 70, for 3 hours before they went on their way. I have also heard from other people saying their cross border experience has not really changed. Have you encountered any unreasonable delays or large changes to your border crossing experience?

I worry about the state of people's mental health in the U.S. as things seem to just get worse and the fear and hatred builds. One recent story that added to my concern was the recent arrest of a Georgia man whose family contacted police saying he threatened to shoot up the airport and on facetime with family he said I'm at the airport, and i'm going to go rat-a-tat-tat! Had you heard about this story? have you heard about this story?

Something that i thought ended and would never come back is happening again in las vegas next year. I want to go, but I am still concerned about safety as well as still being angry at the threats made to our countries sovereignty by your elected politicians. This event is 6 months away and i imagine things in the U.S. are going to get much worse before it starts to get better. Would you travel to the U.S. right now as a Canadian?
