The news stories repeatedly say Renee Good was a single mother who just dropped off her child at school. Should the dog be part of the story? I am struggling with sympathy for her as a mother, and how she could put herself in danger with a dog in the car. The window was wide open for him too. Assuming he had no harness seatbelt, it upsets me how traumatizing the crash must have been for him.

- All dogs should be ignored at all times.
- The dog should absolutely be included in the story. When there is a story about a fire or some terrible thing, they usually mention any pets also.
