Senator Mark E. Kelly is the senior US Senator from Arizona. Aside from politics, his list of accomplishments include retired astronaut and naval officer. He is currently suing Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for attempting to censure him and lower his retirement rank. There are no definitive winners yet but law experts are leaning towards Kelly according to USA Today and The Hill. Have you read or heard anything about this legal battle?

On a more personal note, Senator Kelly has an identical twin, Scott, who is an engineer, a naval aviator and (drumroll please) a retired astronaut! Mark's wife, Gabby Giffords, is a force to be reckoned with in her own right. She was the third woman in Arizona's history to be elected to Congress. Ms. Giffords had just began her third congressional term in January 2011 when she was shot in the head in an assassination attempt and mass shooting during an event with constituents.
